Our team finally arrived in Misano Adriatico for the thirteenth race of the season, which will take place on the amazing Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
Moto3 riders’ have to face with a short track of 4.2 kilometres, which count with 6 left corners and 10 right ones. The distance of the race will cover around 97 kilometres, which are 23 laps.
Friday is like always the first free practice day, during which our riders try some different bike’s settings in order to decide the best one for the race.
Today has been quite difficult for Yurchenko and Masaki to sign good lap times and keep a fast pace, but even so, they could try different things and improve their feeling.
Although in the FP1 their results are not been significant, they have been able to keep a good pace by change different small things in their bikes.
During FP2, they both gained many important informations to analyse, so they both are confident about tomorrow’s performance.
They will study a lot today’s data and they will try to make a good strategy to improve their position during FP3.
#22 KAZUKI MASAKI P.25
““Today has been quite positive, despite the last problems I suffered during Silverstone GP, so I can say my foot pain is finally passed. I suffered some problems with my bike’s setting during FP1 but I think we can manage to improve it for tomorrow. Instead, during FP2 track’s conditions were worst than in the morning, but even so, I could sign a better lap time and now I’m only 0.696 far from the first rider. I’m pretty sure that tomorrow we will do a good FP3 and I hope to get the change to go straight to QP2.“
#76 MAKAR YURCHENKO P.28
“Although today’s results is totally negative, we just found the problems my bike was suffering during both the free practices. During FP2 my average speed was the last one, which normally it isn’t, so it seems that the engine is not working well. Another things which has been so difficult to improve, has been the grip with the tyres in this track. For tomorrow we will for sure change the engine and try something more to see if results will come as expected.”
