The Spanish rider will contest his third consecutive season with the team, a sign of mutual confidence in the quest for greater success and the Moto3 World Championship title in 2024
BOÉ Motorsports and David Muñoz will continue to work together in the 2024 season. The young Andalusian rider will contest his third consecutive season in the Moto3 World Championship with the team led by José Ángel Gutiérrez Boé, with whom he will jointly fight for the World Championship title.
BOÉ Motorsports was the first team to bet on David Muñoz’s arrival in the World Championship in 2022 despite the obligation of not being able to start the World Championship with the rider until the eighth Grand Prix of the calendar. The Spanish team saw from the very first moment the great talent that Muñoz possesses and from the very first rounds these good sensations were confirmed.
After a first year full of successes, in this second season marked by the injury suffered in the Spanish Grand Prix for which he missed three races, BOÉ Motorsports and David Muñoz continue to form a solid and competitive team, and good proof of this are the results obtained and the great performance shown after the injury, constantly fighting for the top positions. In total, Muñoz has scored three podiums and a pole position with the team, but the best is yet to come and ambitions are high.
David Muñoz:“I am very happy to announce that next year I will be back with BOÉ Motorsports. In 2024 we will try to fight for the title, that’s what we are here for. This season, for various reasons, we have not been lucky enough to get the results we needed to fight for it, but we are in good shape and we are a great team. I’m happy to continue with this great family, I have to thank the team for trusting me for another year. Let’s go for it all!”
José Ángel Guitérrez Boé:“We are delighted to be able to continue for another year with David. Since the beginning we know how talented he is, and several episodes of bad luck have deprived us of better results, but we know the potential he has and we are convinced that we will continue to fight for victories in every race. Since David joined the team we have worked very well together and we wanted to continue in this line with a winning project. Now we have to keep working to finish as high as possible this season and prepare for a 2024 in which we have high hopes”.
