Joel Kelso and David Muñoz have been very consistent and will start from seventh and eighth on the grid respectively

The French Grand Prix is underway and BOÉ Motorsports continues to demonstrate the great form it is in. Practice sessions have been completed at the Le Mans circuit and, ahead of tomorrow’s race, Joel Kelso will start from seventh position, while David Muñoz will start from eighth.

As usual this season, the BOÉ Motorsports riders were among the fastest since the first free practice session on Friday. In fact, after Friday and Saturday practice, for the fifth consecutive Grand Prix, David Muñoz and Joel Kelso qualified directly to Q2: in the combined timesheets Kelso was sixth fastest (1:40.892) and Muñoz was fourteenth (1:41.174).

In Q2, the two Spanish team riders continued to be very consistent and did a great job. Both were again in the top ten: Joel Kelso will start seventh thanks to a fastest lap of 1:40.878, while Muñoz will start from one place behind his teammate (1:41.025).

Joel Kelso:“I feel very strong with the race pace we have going into tomorrow. We did several long runs to practice this, except in FP1 when I crashed. We are in the top 10 and I think from seventh place it’s a good place for tomorrow’s race and I did my best time on my own, so I’m happy with how the day went. Tomorrow we have to make a clean start, a clean first lap and from there we have to find our pace to be at the front”.

David Muñoz:“We are having a good weekend, I am feeling good since the first day and every time we go out on track we improve. I feel better and better with the bike and I think we can have a very good race tomorrow, I have a lot of confidence in myself and in the team, who are doing a good job. Tomorrow we will go for everything”.

Tomorrow’s Moto3 race at the Circuit de Le Mans will start at 11:00.
