Our last day here in TT Circuit Assen started with Moto3’s warm up, a twenty minutes session in the early morning, in which riders can go out on track for the last time before the race, and try track’s conditions. Our riders Kazuki Masaki and Makar Yurchenko, ended up in the top20, by signing good lap times and trying race’s pace.

At eleven o’clock Moto3 class’ riders were ready to fight during all the 22 laps of this race. Since the start there was a big leading group, and some riders exceeded track limit, so race direction decided to give them a penalty. There were also many crashes, both in the leading group and in the second one, which caused a lose of seconds for some riders.

Finally our riders ended up in the thirteenth position for Kazuki Masaki and in the eighteenth position for Makar Yurchenko.

#22 KAZUKI MASAKI P.13

“Finally today I ended up in the thirteenth position, but I’m a little bit disappointed about this result because my target was top5. In the race I was been able to do a good start from my grid position but then I lost some positions in the first laps. For KTM bikes Assen Circuit is a little bit tricky and it’s harder to get faster laps than the Honda bikes. Even so, I will try to do my best in the next event in Sachsenring and fight with the first riders. “

#76 MAKAR YURCHENKO P.18

“Today was not a positive day for us because at least the results was not the one we had expected. We started the warm up with the right feeling, but this last session has not been nor positive or negative. I decided to Strat the race with an used rear tyre because in the warm up lap I didn’t find the feeling with the tyre we had chosen. I tried to overtake some riders during all the race, but my bike was sliding a lot and it was quite impossible. It’s such a pity because our pace was the same than the first five riders, but it was very difficult to overtake in that conditions. Now we have to keep on working a lot to try to do our best in Sachsenring.”
