Makar Yurchenko started the day with very strong and positive feeling with his bike, which let him stay with the first five riders of the morning. He was able to keep on with a good pace during all the forty minutes and finally he ended up in the fifth position, gaining a pass to go straight to QP2. During QP2, he went out on track with the aim to prove himself, signing very fast lap times. Finally he finished the 13th with strong feeling for tomorrow race.

On the other hand, Kazuki Masaki, has not passed a lucky day. During FP3 he was fast and he signed good lap times, but, as he has done some slowest lap than the others, he was given 12 grid positions penalty. He had to pass to QP1, in which he kept a good pace until the last lap. Unfortunately, he finished the fifth, just one position out of QP2.

“This morning I had a very strong feeling with the bike and my pace was very good, and I was able to keep a good position until the end of free practice. I was able stay together with the first riders during all the forty minutes, and finally I finished the fifth. I would have like to keep on with the same pace and work, also during QP, but it was too hot and it cost me a lot to sign a better lap time. Moreover, normally during Qp, riders are slowest because they wait the big group in order to gain the best position. The grid position for tomorrow is not so bad, but I have to work hard in order to try to do the best I can in the race.”

#22 KAZUKI MASAKI P.31

“I’m very disappointed about today final result. During FP3 I had a good pace, I was signing good lap time, but then, when I was doing the best lap something went wrong and I had to stop. In the qualifying practice I kept the first two positions until the last lap, but unfortunately I finished the fifth, only one position out for QP2. Tomorrow I will start from the back due to a grid penalty, but I’m focus on the target and I will give all I can to try to do the best.”
